Hailey Bieber’s Glass Polka Dot Manicure Adds the Cutest Twist to the Bare Nail Trend

Hailey Bieber is cosigning “polka dot summer” in the most Hailey Bieber way possible.

On July 4, the 28-year-old model debuted her latest summer manicure, ditching her lemon-yellow and white polka dot nails in favor of a more subtle approach to the trending pattern. In lieu of the lemon drop manicure tied to her latest Rhode launch, Bieber is dipping back into the natural nail craze by rocking glassy clear polish with dainty white spots, proving that two of the biggest trends of summer 2025 go hand-in-hand.

She first debuted the nail design with a selfie on Instagram story, coincidentally demonstrating that Rhode’s lemontini lip tint packs the same amount of shine as her glass polka dot manicure. She also posted a cheeky TikTok video, applying the peptide treatment while lip-synching a quote by Love Island breakout star Amaya Espinal. (Limited-edition Amaya Papaya lip tint when?!)

Suddenly, nail designs have found their way back into the conversation as minimalism continues to dominate summer 2025 nail trends—and Hailey Bieber isn’t the only celebrity pushing the boundaries of the bare nail trend with the use of polka dots.

Sabrina Carpenter sported a slightly less glassy version of a bare polka dot manicure in her “Manchild” music video, courtesy of Bieber’s longtime celebrity nail artist Zola Ganzorigt. At the time, Ganzorigt confirmed she used one coat of the OPI shade Passion and one coat of Bare My Soul to create the perfect nude shade for Carpenter, adding the spots with Alpine Snow. Carpenter loved the look so much, she requested the design again in late June, adding a couple sparkling rhinestones.
