Emily Ratajkowski Got a Wavy Bob with Blunt Bangs

If Lena Dunham’s new Megan Stalter-fronted show, Too Much, came out at midnight pacific time last night, the best of us should’ve completed a full binge watch by now. I haven’t been that on top of the game, but I am tuning in in other ways. Namely, I’m obsessing over Emily Ratajkowski’s hair in the sneak peeks I’ve seen.

On Thursday, July 10, the model shared an Instagram post promoting the new project. “TOO MUCH is streaming on Netflix 🙂 GO WATCH,” she wrote, adding a little “ily” shoutout to the show’s creator.

So sweet. But really, she should’ve just said “look at my bob.” That’s all I’m doing—until I can give that Netflix screen my all, at least.

The model’s character is named Wendy Jones. Because I haven’t watched (yet!!! don’t worry, I’ll be caught up by this time tomorrow), there are only a few key things I know about her. She lives in New York, she’s dating the main character’s ex, and she has chic hair.

Ratajkowski wears the short cut, which falls just below her famous jawline, wavy with straight-across bangs. She has some frizz going on in an artsy way, and paired the look with some similarly trendy knitwear in her photo dump.

The 34-year-old first showed off the haircut while filming last summer. “Her bob is giving Williamsburg gallerist who wears D.S. & Durga perfume and stalks the Ssense sale like it’s her job,” Byrdie wrote at the time. Still tracks—I bet she would’ve loved the Brown Flowers launch.

Per her profession, Ratajkowski has had the pleasure of trying out plenty of hairstyles over the years. Normally, though, she wears her dark locks medium-long and layered.

And that’s the magic of Lena Dunham, baby. Marnie’s business casual ‘fits stand the test of time, and I’m sure the show will be full of plenty other beauty and style gems. There is, in fact, no such thing as too much.
