Sam’s Club Just Recalled This Snack Due to Listeria Contamination—Here’s What to Know
- The FDA has recalled freeze-dried fruit sold at Sam’s Club due to Listeria contamination.
- The snacks were sold in 42 states and have expiry dates ranging from June 24 to July 25, 2027.
- Do not consume the recalled products, as Listeria infection can be very serious or even fatal.
The Food and Drug Administration has announced a recall on freeze-dried fruit sold at Sam’s Club warehouses in 42 states. The recall is due to the potential for Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
These products are packaged in small foil pouches, and the recalled variety packs contain 15 foil bags each. The products have expiration dates ranging from June 24 to July 25, 2027.
To see if your product may be affected, check the lot codes and expiration date on the bottom of the box, and compare with the list below.

The products were shipped to distribution centers in 42 states, excluding Alaska, Arkansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington. The products were shipped out exclusively to Sam’s Club stores between July 1 and July 25, 2025.
Although no illnesses have been reported as of July 31, Listeria infections—called listeriosis—can be very serious and even fatal. Older adults, children, pregnant people and those who are immunocompromised should be especially careful to avoid Listeria exposure whenever possible.
