There’s a nationwide recall on 19,368 containers of a popular Aldi product, according to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA). This is due to a foreign matter contamination.

The recalled items are 7-ounce tubs of Park Street Deli Cinnamon Bun Dessert Dip. The recalled dips contain a UPC of 4061462440151, lot code 16225 and a sell-by date printed as “11-08-25.” This recall is ongoing and the affected products were sold nationwide. Check your refrigerator for this dessert dip, and if you have it on hand with the matching UPC and lot codes, dispose of it or return to your place of purchase for a possible refund. 

On August 8, the FDA classified this as a Class II recall, meaning that consuming the contaminated snack may lead to minor health problems. The Park Street Deli items impacted may contain plastic fragments in the dips, posing an injury or choking risk. Talk to a healthcare provider if you are experiencing any injury or illness after eating the recalled dip.
