Aldi, BJ’s and More Gummy Vitamins Recalled Nationwide

There’s an active recall on vitamin B12 sold by multiple brands, according to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration. This is due to an undeclared allergen in the products.
The gummy vitamins impacted were sold at Aldi and BJ’s locations nationwide and online through the retailers’ websites as well as on Amazon and VitaGlobe’s website. The following vitamin B12 products are affected by this recall, including the codes and expiration dates printed on the bottom of the recalled bottles:

Check your gummy vitamins, and if it matches the recall information, dispose of them or return to your place of purchase for a full refund. These vitamins may contain a peanut allergen, which is undeclared on the product, posing a risk. This was discovered after routine testing conducted by Aldi.
While no illnesses or reactions have been reported, those that have a peanut allergy that consume one of these products may experience symptoms of anaphylaxis. This includes hives, swelling, trouble breathing, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dizziness, tightness of the throat and cardiac arrest. Call 911 immediately if you are showing signs of anaphylactic shock.
