Ananya Panday’s razor-thin liner and Kajol’s moody lip headline this week’s best beauty looks

This week’s beauty leaned away from spectacle. Grounded tones, satin finishes and flushes of colour that felt lived-in rather than painted on. Suhana Khan and Ananya Panday played within the lines of skin-first beauty, while others like Shruti Haasan and Kajol added contrast with defined eyes or bold lips. Together, the looks struck a rare balance.
Ananya Panday’s dewy skin meets sheer washes of peach—on the cheeks, lips and eyes—all applied just lightly enough to feel like a tint rather than full pigment. Lashes are curled but never clumpy, brows brushed without added weight. The standout is the razor-thin liner. It’s the kind of makeup that looks like good lighting and good genes had a conversation and decided to collaborate.
Kajol leaned into glamour with a matte base as the perfect backdrop to neutral-toned lids, smoked with taupe and kohl. Her softly shaped brows anchored the look. The deep berry lipstick commanded attention, a rich contrast against the calm of the rest of her makeup. With just a hint of blush and delicate contouring, the look is vintage and cinematic.
Bhumi Pednekar’s look leaned into light: dewy, fresh skin offset by softly defined brows and a hint of blush. Her eyes carried the weight: diffused shadow, jet-black liner flicked just enough to lift the gaze, and fluttery lashes that added depth without drama. A nude lipstick grounded it all, while a single black bindi tied in with her traditional ensemble.
Shruti Haasan’s matte warm base and peach blush created a structure for her statement eyes–sharp, winged liner extending out over softly smoked lids. Her brows, defined to balance the high drama eyes. The muted rose lipstick softened the sharpness, while a bindi pulled it all together.
Lit-from-within skin and a flush of peach blush gave Sonali Bendre a warm, luminous base. Her lids carried a sunset haze—burnt copper shadows blended into a soft contour, paired with defined liner and lush lashes. The look was tonal, seamless and radiant.
Suhana Khan went with a classic no-makeup makeup look. Satin-finish skin, a soft flush on the cheeks and nude lips that matched her natural tone. A gentle flick of liner added subtle lift, while a shimmer detail at the inner corners brought light to the eyes. Her brows were brushed through and kept natural, rounding off a look.
