Hailey Bieber’s Soft French Manicure Defies the Seasons

Key Takeaways
- Hailey Bieber showed off a soft French manicure while celebrating Bella Hadid’s latest fragrance launch.
- The timeless nail art was first popularized by Bieber’s nail artist, who taught us exactly how to get the look.
If I didn’t have a calendar, I’d probably end up charting the days by looking at Hailey Bieber’s manicures. She changes it up often and obviously enough that staring at her nails is a great way to understand the passing of time, not to mention a great past time in general.
Recently, though, the 28-year-old has been sporting a look that’s a bit more… classic. If her nails were my only way to understand what month it was, I might be a little confused, because this one defies the seasons.
Times change, but a soft French is forever.

Last week, Bieber attended a sunlit garden party to celebrate her bestie (and fellow soft French lover) Bella Hadid’s new fragrance launch: ‘Ôrəbella’s Eternal Roots. For the event, she swapped summery polka dot nails for a classic soft French—all the better to grasp her lychee martini from Hadid’s lychee martini fountain (which she’d exchanged her Rhode summer lemontini for).
Per usual, her nails were long and filed into a rounded almond shape. The bases were painted a soft pink shade while the tips took on a soft white. The keyword here? Soft, obviously.
How to Get the Look
Also dubbed a “vanilla” French manicure, the look was actually popularized by Bieber’s favorite nail artist, Zola Ganzorigt. Though the duo usually stick with their main claim to mani fame—some variation of the glazed donut—this set featured a simple glossy top coat.
Ganzorigt previously described the look as “more toned down and softer compared to traditional white French nails,” while chatting with Byrdie, noting that her go-to color combo of OPI’s Put it in Neutral and Funny Bunny “makes it more natural-looking.”

So… soft French fall, anyone? Or spring, summer, winter…
Who cares what time of the year it is when you have nails this good.
