I track mattress prices for a living and this Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Cloud deal is epic — save up to $1,159 in Labor Day sales

As a mattress deals writer, I’ve been on the hunt for good mattress deals this Labor Day, and I stopped in my tracks when I spotted this one. Right now, you can get a queen size Tempur-Cloud Mattress and Ease Power Base for $1,998.40 (was $2,998) at Tempur-Pedic— a saving of $999.60.
Tempur-Pedic is known for creating some of the best mattresses you can buy, but they’re also one of the more expensive brands. This deal combines their most affordable all-foam bed with their classic adjustable base, and offers a discount of 40% and an added $200 off. So if you’re looking to overhaul your sleep setup, it’s worth checking out.
For those who are just looking to buy a mattress, Tempur-Pedic are also offering 30% off the Tempur-Cloud on it’s own. You can also check out our guide to Labor Day mattress sales, where we’re tracking all the best discounts from top brands. But since this Tempur-Pedic mattress and base bundle deal is only around while stocks last, let’s take a closer look at what’s on offer…
More about the Tempur-Cloud Mattress…
The Tempur-Cloud is the cheapest of Tempur-Pedic’s mattresses (though we acknowledge that it’s by no means a budget bed by usual standards), but that also means it’s a way to get their NASA-developed Tempur material in your mattress without paying the premium price of their more expensive models.
And, by purchasing the mattress + Ease Power Base bundle, you can customize your sleep experience at the same time.
A 10″ profile with four foam layers, the Tempur-Cloud features a cushioning comfort layer of Tempur Material and a firmer support layer of Tempur Material, a base foam layer and a moisture-wicking stretch knit cover on top.
In our Tempur-Cloud Mattress review, we found that this mattress was better suited to side and back sleepers who are looking for pressure relief. Our lead tester noted the ‘sink-in’ feeling of this mattress but that this ultimately “evened out into supportive foam contouring around us.”
And while motion isolation was great, we noticed an issue that even some of the best memory foam mattresses face; it did retain heat, which may be problematic for hot sleepers. Additionally, there was little to no edge support.
But those were our only real gripes with this mattress, which we awarded 3.5 out of five stars, and otherwise we’d back it as a solid choice for those looking for the pressure relief and support that Tempur-Pedic beds provide.
The Ease Power Base sits under the mattress and allows you to adjust the head and foot of the bed to different heights using a wireless remote, which means you can customize the position of the bed to suit your reading, napping and sleeping preferences.
And if you haven’t heard of a zero-gravity bed, it basically has a position which raises your head and feet to give you a feeling of weightlessness and pressure release.
