Jennifer Garner Is Actually So Blonde Now

Jennifer Garner Is Actually So Blonde Now

Key Takeaways

  • Jennifer Garner went blonde for summer 2025, showing off a full head of expertly blended golden highlights.
  • Her colorist, Tracey Cunningham, shared the exact formula she used to get the look.

They say blondes have more fun, but they might be sweeter, too? Now that famous sweetie Jennifer Garner has made her way to the light side of the hair color spectrum, it has to be true.

With celebrity hair colorist Tracey Cunningham by her side, the lifelong brunette has decided to blonde herself up this summer. Though Garner’s hair has been looking suspiciously sun kissed in her Instagram photos, Cunningham confirmed the news via Instagram Reels on Sunday, June 15. She was even nice enough to share the formula she used to get those gorgeous highlights.

“Jennifer Garner going blonde,” she captioned the post. Talk about an iconic opening line.

Though you can still see some of those iconic brunette strands peeking through, the bright highlights are so prevalent—and expertly blended—that a quick glance might make you think Garner is a full-on blonde. In reality, she’s giving bronde. But its a golden honey bronde; the light wins out overall.

“Lightened up this beauty’s hair for her latest role—and she’s glowing. Jennifer’s just wrapped The Last Thing He Told Me (yes, Paris), and is already diving into The Five-Star Weekend—a dreamy Nantucket story coming soon to Peacock,” Cunningham wrote in her post’s caption, adding that she used Schwarzkopf Professional BlondeMe products and glossed with their Igora Vibrance line during the appointment.

Jennifer Garner’s Blonde Formula

In the video itself, Cunningham shared the exact formula she used. It started off with BlondeMe Lightener with 30 volume. The Igora Vibrance setup was as follows…

“Base: 9-00 + 8-1 + 7-00 + 6-1 with 13 volume for 20 minutes. Zone 2: 9-0. All-Over: 9-7 + 0-55 (Equal Parts) for one minute.”

And while we know the color is a Cunningham specialty, that bounce is the actress’s own. She previously told Byrdie exactly how she gets her mane so luscious, if you need a little more Jennifer Garner-based hair inspiration to start your week.

“I love Virtue’s Damage Reverse Serum. It’s a great product to start with if you haven’t tried Virtue, as you’ll instantly notice a difference the first time you use it, guaranteed. I also love the brand’s shampoos and conditioners as they all contain the bioidentical Alpha Keratin 60ku protein, which helps repair your hair and lock in hair moisture for resiliency and durability,” explained the actress. “My two favorites are the Full Shampoo and Conditioner and the Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner, which I toggle between.”
