Jennifer Lawrence Gives a Master Class in Summer Layering With a Rare Pair of Jeans
Jennifer Lawrence rarely wears jeans, but when she does, they’re heat-wave approved.
On July 10, the 34-year-old actor was photographed giving a master class in summer layering while on a dinner date with husband Cooke Maroney in New York City. Lawrence started with the basics, pairing a crisp white tee shirt with relaxed baggy jeans and open-toe sandals.
While the combination has become somewhat of a cool-girl summer uniform in 2025, Lawrence added some personality and structure with a colorfully embroidered Qipao-style vest in black, keeping the top few knotted buttons open to reveal layers of dainty gold jewelry.
Pankou knots can be found on many traditional Chinese garments, which have clearly influenced Lawrence’s summer 2025 wardrobe. Just a few days ago, she wore a flowing silk blouse with similar detailing over matching pants and a pair of The Row’s leather-trimmed sock mesh flats in a neutral beige shade.
