Night Always Comes (August 15)
Set in Portland, Night Always Comes follows Lynette (Vanessa Kirby), a working-class woman racing against time to secure $25,000 to buy the house she has promised her mother, protecting them from displacement. With only two days before the deal falls apart, a series of desperate choices pushes her into the city’s underbelly, crossing paths with old acquaintances, dangerous criminals and moral lines she never imagined crossing. The film, adapted from Willy Vlautin’s novel, also stars Jennifer Jason Leigh, Zack Gottsagen, Stephan James, Julia Fox, Randall Park, Eli Roth and Michael Kelly.
