Margot Robbie’s Anti-Trend Pants Are Perfect for Fall 2025—Especially When Styled Like This

Margot Robbie's Anti-Trend Pants Are Perfect for Fall 2025—Especially When Styled Like This

Some people simply look good in anything. And Margot Robbie is definitely one of them. But at Cara Delevingne’s birthday party in Los Angeles, the actor opted for a classic trouser style that not only flatters her figure, but is guaranteed to look good on everyone.

The Y2K revival brought back many controversial fashion trends—most notably low-rise pants. Since then, models with extra-low waistbands have been seen everywhere—on runways, red carpets, and, of course, among fashionistas on Instagram and other social media platforms. That’s why it’s all the more refreshing that Robbie has opted for the exact opposite of the trend.

On August 5, she wore ultra-high-waisted, wide-leg trousers—a cut that was especially popular in the 2010s and is now making a well-deserved comeback. And Robbie proves why: The high waist visually elongates the legs, accentuates the waist, and creates a beautiful hourglass silhouette when combined with the wide-leg cut.

The trousers were clearly the key piece of her outfit. Robbie teamed them with a simple white halter-neck crop top and a small black handbag. Her black platform peep-toe heels not only rounded off the look, but also enhanced the elongating effect of the trousers.

Unlike low-rise pants, which not everyone feels comfortable in, high-waisted trousers flatter many body types. Their classic cut also exudes a certain elegance, especially when you choose pleated styles like Margot Robbie does.
