Megan Thee Stallion’s New Hair Color is (Literally) Red Hot—See the Video

It’s officially mid-July, and for many of us, that means hot, hot, hot weather, potentially even hitting the triple digits. For Megan Thee Stallion, it also means a hot, hot, hot hair color!

And is there a hotter color than red? After seeing Megan’s latest video, I’m gonna go ahead and say no. The rapper’s bright cherry red hair made an appearance on her TikTok, where she posted a cute video of herself set to some cheeky audio. And when I say red, I mean red. Her hair is a vivid true scarlet, Crayola marker red—not auburn, not cherry cola, not copper, not strawberry—and worn long and pin-straight with bangs.

“This morning I woke up beautiful again and craving attention, so I decided to make some b*tches mad from scratch,” said the voiceover audio as Megan played with her hair and showed off a matching set of red nails and a red hat. “I then posted a selfie of me looking pretty and minding my business.” (It’s not actually Megan talking; it appears to be trending audio of someone mimicking Nara Smith’s videos and vocal cadence.)

The cherry-colored hair is a wig, but Megan did have a redhead era earlier this year, debuting a trendy shade of copper in January for Paris Fashion Week. She had fun with the color for awhile, but went back to dark hair to walk the runway for her swimwear line, Hot Girl Summer. (An equally bright bubblegum pink wig did make a brief appearance too.)

Celebs have truly embraced all shades of red in 2025, including Megan’s pal Keke Palmer, who has been all about copper, auburn, and strawberry hues, and SZA, who performed at the Super Bowl Halftime Show with rich, deep auburn curls.
