Netflix just added a new season of No. 1 romantic drama show — ‘Sullivan’s Crossing’ season 3 has finally arrived
If you spent the last few weeks binge-watching the first two seasons of “Sullivan’s Crossing” on Netflix, you’ve no doubt been wondering when the streaming service would be getting the latest episodes. If you’re not up to speed, “Sullivan’s Crossing” is a romantic drama based on books penned by Robyn Carr (the same author behind the “Virgin River” novels).
The “Sullivan’s Crossing” adaptation originally aired on CTV and The CW, before making its way to Netflix in early July, where it’s been a mainstay of the streamer’s top 10 list ever since. As of today, (August 11), we’ve got good news: “Sullivan’s Crossing” season 3 is now streaming on Netflix, meaning fans of shows like “Virgin River” or romance in general now have 10 new episodes of soapy drama to look forward to streaming.

“Sullivan’s Crossing” season 3 continues to follow the life of Maggie Sullivan (Morgan Kohan) and her time in the titular town.
Here’s the series synopsis for the third season, from The CW: “Having finally confessed her love to Cal Jones (Chad Michael Murray, “One Tree Hill”) and still reeling from the aftermath of Rob’s diner fire, Maggie Sullivan (Morgan Kohan, “When Hope Calls”) makes the decision to leave her carer as a neurosurgeon behind to help run her father, Sully Sullivan’s (Scott Patterson, “Gilmore Girls”) campground. But trading the adrenaline of the OR for a slower paced life at the Crossing won’t be easy and Maggie will be faced with many challenges as she continues her journey from the Head to the Heart.”
In addition to Kohan, Murray and Patterson, “Sullivan’s Crossing” also stars Tom Jackson, Andrea Menard, Allan Hawco, Lynda Boyd, Peter Outerbridge, and more.
Is ‘Sullivan’s Crossing’ season 4 happening?
Yes! Back when the first two seasons hit Netflix, Deadline revealed that The CW — where “Sullivan’s Crossing” airs in the US — had renewed the romantic drama for a fourth season.
The news came just ahead of the “Sullivan’s Crossing” season 3 finale, which aired on The CW on July 16, and confirmed the show would be returning for another 10-episode run in 2026.
“I’m very excited with the Season 4 renewal and am extremely grateful to have supportive partners who understand the value of my brand as well as the importance of producing comfort programming”, said executive producer, Roma Roth. “It’s very gratifying to know “Sullivan’s Crossing” is resonating so well with our global audience.”
If “Sullivan’s Crossing” continues to perform as well as it has done thus far, it likely won’t be disappearing anytime soon, either: in the same report, CW President Brad Schwartz said the show “still has a lot of runway left,” too.
