Sabrina Carpenter’s “Strawberry Jelly” Lips Are So Cute

Sabrina Carpenter's "Strawberry Jelly" Lips Are So Cute

Key Takeaways

  • Sabrina Carpenter is trading espresso for summer berries in her new collab with Dunkin’.
  • She announced her new drink—Sabrina’s Strawberry Daydream Refresher—with a glossy “strawberry jelly” lip look.

Sabrina Carpenter is sugar sugar, she’s super honey honey, and—as she showed us this summer with those viral Prada banana jellies in her “Manchild” music video—she is most definitely a candy girl.

The latest treat she’s serving up is “Strawberry Jelly” Lips, a new take on the Guava Girl trend for those who appreciate their fruit a little (short ‘n) sweeter.

Before this, did we really know how sweet a kiss could be?

Sabrina Carpenter’s “Strawberry Jelly” Lips

On Wednesday, June 25, the 26-year-old announced a new collaboration with Dunkin’ via Instagram. There’s no coffee involved this time (don’t worry…you can take the girl into a new album cycle, but you can’t take the “Espresso” out of our Spotify playlists), but it’s a fun one: Sabrina’s Strawberry Daydream Refresher. And she’s sipping the new, creamy oat-milk foam topped bev with the glossiest, ripest red “strawberry jelly” lips.

With her hair worked into vintage curls, Carpenter’s lips were lined in a deep red and painted a similar, albeit a little brighter, color—an exact shade match to a ripe summer strawberry. Her whole pout was then covered in the shiniest, most jelly-like gloss I’ve ever seen.

How to Get “Strawberry Jelly” Lips

We know Carpenter is a Prada Beauty girlie, so it’s very possible that makeup artist Carolina Gonzalez wielded the brand’s Monochrome Soft Matte Lipstick for a base color (I’m sure she at least used their balm to prep that famous canvas).

As for the shine… my first guess is the Hourglass Phantom Volumizing Glossy Lip Balm, which I know the pop star has loved in the past. The bright red shade Thrill looks just about right. Dunkin’ also recently collaborated with Tarte on a shiny, summery collection, and their Maracuja Juicy Lip Tint in Ice Pop and Maracuja Juicy Melt Mask could have a similar effect.

Or you could grab your favorite gloss with a jelly finish and eat some messy strawberries before applying it for a DIY lip tint? It’s best to figure this out soon, because canning season is coming up. We love jelly, but don’t want to put ourselves in a jam.
