Leaked Galaxy S25 FE specs

If you prefer to go into product launches blissfully unaware of what features are planned for new devices, then look away. But if you believe that forewarned is forearmed, then behold the rumored specs of the Galaxy S25 FE courtesy of a Portuguese retailer who posted them prematurely last week.

According to the leaked specs, here’s what you can expect from the scaled-back version of Samsung’s Galaxy S25 phone, should Samsung announce it today:

  • An Exynos 2400 chipset
  • 128GB and 8GB of storage
  • Triple rear cameras featuring 50MP main, 12MP ultrawide and 8MP telephoto cameras
  • A 4,900 mAh battery
  • A 6.7-inch display

These specs mirror a lot of what you get from the Galaxy S24 FE (pictured above), save for the battery, which would be bigger in the new model. Also, last year’s FE used an Exynos 2400e, which has a lower peak speed for its main processor than the standard 2400 chipset.

Oh, and the Galaxy S25 FE has one other thing in common with the S24 FE, according to the leak — the same price as last year’s model. In the U.S., that’d be $649.

We definitely know Samsung is holding a product event today — I mean, that’s why we’re here right? But it may not be the only product event Samsung holds this month, if a well-regarded leaker is posting accurate info about the company’s plan.

We’re referring to Ice Universe, who posted earlier this week that yet another Samsung event will be held in Korea later this month. Unlike today’s event, where the focus is likely to be on tablets and maybe phones, this rumored end-of-September session would concentrate on the Galaxy Z trifold phone and possibly some AR glasses developed by Samsung. Oh, and project Moohan could be at that event, too.

Before you make your plans for the end of this month, there’s a possibility according to Ice Universe that the event might take place in October instead.

Samsung sets the stage

Anticipation that we could be having another event in the wake of Samsung’s July foldable phone launch can be traced back to the beginning of August when a Samsung executive outlined some of the company’s plans when meeting with investors. And while no explicit timelines were offered, we did get a pretty clear indication of what Samsung planned to release in the closing months of 2025.

According to Daniel Araujo, VP of Samsung’s Mobile Experience division, the company was planning to hold “an earlier launch of the S25 FE.” Last year, the Galaxy S24 FE debuted in October, so that set us up for a September launch for its successor — meaning there’s no time like the present.

But that’s not the only product Arajuo told investors about. At the same event, he confirmed that Project Moohan was on track for a launch this year. A tri-folding phone was also mentioned, echoing Samsung bigwig TM Roh’s claim that such a foldable could be coming before the end of 2025.

Early Samsung deals

Before Samsung even takes the stage for this Unpacked event, it’s already offering deals on some of the likely announcements. Head to Samsung’s event page, and you can register with your name and email address to receive a $50 credit on whatever Samsung announces today. (It’s suggested by the language on the page that we’re talking about new Galaxy Tab tablets.)

In addition to instant credit, there’s also the possibility of additional savings via preorder deals through Samsung. Specifically, Samsung is hinting at offers that let you save up to $950 on the “newest Galaxy tablet.”
