Key Takeaways
- Sandy Liang released a collection of cutesy claw clips after utilizing the accessory during her Fall/Winter 2026 runway show.
- The Princess Claw comes in four colors an are about to be seen on the heads of cool girls everywhere.
It’s no secret that cool girls around the world are obsessed with Sandy Liang. The Chinatown-based designer and her namesake brand’s girly girl influence is endless—look at the coquette aesthetic! bows everywhere! sleepover nails!—and, perhaps most importantly, fairly easy to emulate.
Back in February, the designer’s Fall/Winter 2026 show’s glam made “subway ponytails” a thing in an instant. Alongside the non-fussy ‘do, hairstylist Evanie Frausto (he’s a go-to for the likes of Sabrina Carpenter, Bella Hadid, and Addison Rae) also got to work with casual claw clips.
“The inspiration behind the look today is creating a really hot hair look, that is literally hot but also sexy-hot,” he explained at the time. “When creating the looks for the show, we envisioned a New York girl that just got off work, dressed head-to-toe in layers and a little sweaty, but looking incredible and fresh.”
Now, Sandy Liang has released some clips of their own to help you with your hot (in both ways) hair styles. Behold the magic of the bedazzled Sandy Liang Princess Hair Claw—and shop it yourself!—ahead.
Sandy Liang’s New Claw Clips
No, you can never have too many claw clips. *Especially* if the clips in question were designed by Sandy Liang.
The acetate clips are available in four colorways: a classic tortoiseshell with white crystal details, a soft baby blue dubbed “parakeet blue” with blue rhinestones, a soft yellow they’re calling “lemon” with bright sunny bedazzling, and a creamy white called “panna cotta” that features pink gems.
They all measure in at 3.5 inches, which I have to say is the perfect size.

How to Wear It
The best way to wear your claw clip is obviously with your new Sandy Liang dress. Twist your hair back into a French twist and clamp the accessory on for the easiest outfit-supporting updo ever.
