It’s no secret that cool girls around the world are obsessed with Sandy Liang. The Chinatown-based designer and her namesake brand’s girly girl influence is endless—look at the coquette aesthetic! bows everywhere! sleepover nails!—and, perhaps most importantly, fairly easy to emulate.
Back in February, the designer’s Fall/Winter 2026 show’s glam made “subway ponytails” a thing in an instant. Alongside the non-fussy ‘do, hairstylist Evanie Frausto (he’s a go-to for the likes of Sabrina Carpenter, Bella Hadid, and Addison Rae) also got to work with casual claw clips.
“The inspiration behind the look today is creating a really hot hair look, that is literally hot but also sexy-hot,” he explained at the time. “When creating the looks for the show, we envisioned a New York girl that just got off work, dressed head-to-toe in layers and a little sweaty, but looking incredible and fresh.”

The acetate clips are available in four colorways: a classic tortoiseshell with white crystal details, a soft baby blue dubbed “parakeet blue” with blue rhinestones, a soft yellow they’re calling “lemon” with bright sunny bedazzling, and a creamy white called “panna cotta” that features pink gems.
They all measure in at 3.5 inches, which I have to say is the perfect size.
