March 18, 2025: In an interview with Elite Daily, Danús encourages the couple to fess the eff up. “I’m so sick of the lies. Just own up to it at this point.”

Per Danús, she confirmed the news in February, recalling, “I texted Sara, ‘I’m hearing a lot of things about you and Joey. Is there anything you need to tell me?’ And she called me and said, ‘Nothing’s official, but we are seeing each other.’ She said they didn’t want to make anything official until any online hate dies down.”

“She told me this started a month ago, so that’s at least two months ago now. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was longer,” she adds, explaining, “all this time when I was venting to her about Joey and she was saying she had my back, she was actually with him.”

March 13, 2025: Carton denies rumors she and Leveille are dating on the Viall Files podcast. “I’ve seen this a few times online in the past 24 hours,” Carton says. “To be clear, me and Joey are not dating.”

She explains, “There was a love square between me, Monica, Ben, and Joey. We were all talking to each other until the second to last day in the pods.” Through that, Carton says, “Me and Joey did establish a really great friendship.” But, she also says, she feels very well supported by everyone in her little crew of friends from “the experiment.” Of Leveille, she only says, “I’m just very grateful that I’ve met him. We definitely have a friendship. We’re definitely not dating.” Then again, she doesn’t necessarily rule out ever forming a real romance with him.

Perhaps that is why, despite her denial, some TikTok creators only took this interview as further evidence that there is something going on.

March 12, 2025: Mezzenga posts a TikTok adding fuel to the rumors, saying, “I’m not confirming anything but them being together isn’t necessarily a surprise, especially based on what Joey may have done with Madison. Who knows.”

March 11, 2025: The rumors begin when the Reality Receipts podcast claims they have sources confirming that Love Is Blind’s Sara and Joey are dating. Posting under the handle @StorytimewithRikkiii, one of the pod’s hosts first claims that fans spotted Leveille and Carton together at a hair salon, which roused suspicions. Then, she claims, insider sources confirmed to her that the pair are officially “a couple” and “have been for a while.” Her insider allegedly claims that the “couple” are waiting to reveal their relationship status until everything has “died down.”

March 9, 2025: Carton tells Glamour that Leveille, as well as a few other friends from the pods (her “Yeehaw crew” consisting of Taylor, Lauren, Joey, Tom, Scott, and Daniel), came to visit her in Nashville, but there is no indication that there is anything special about her relationship with Leveille rather than the others. And when asked point-blank about her relationship status, Carton replies, “Yes, I’m single.”
