The first thing the I Said I Love You First author does is line her lips with Rare Beauty’s Kind Words Lip Liner in Wise, which has a waterproof, matte finish. She does it without highlighting her Cupid’s bow, in order to optically increase the volume. “The fun challenge is doing it without the mirror,” Gomez says in the video.

Gomez then continues with Positive Light Luminizing Lip Gloss, her brand’s new lip glosses that promise multidimensional shine, tons of hydration, a non-sticky texture, tingle-free volume, and an irresistible peach scent.

And, well, it seems that, just like us, Selena Gomez likes to explore her cosmetics, since she doesn’t use just one lipstick, but two. She starts with a light brown shade called Blaze all over her lips and finishes it off by adding a touch of pink in the center of her lips with the Glimmer gloss. A masterful combination that further increases the sensation of volume and juiciness.
