This RTX 5070 gaming laptop just dropped by $350 in epic Best Buy sale — less than an RTX 5060!

I’ve been crawling through gaming laptop deals since Nvidia’s RTX 50-series gaming laptops arrived, and it’s been pretty clear that they come with a hefty price tag. That’s not the case with this RTX 5070-equipped Gigabyte Aero X16 — as it’s now less than an RTX 5060 laptop.

That’s right; the Gigabyte Aero X16 with an RTX 5070 is now $350 off at Best Buy, slashing its price down to just $1,299. That’s an incredible deal to score considering we’ve just seen this Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 with an RTX 5060 drop to $1,349 — and that’s with a deal included.

Along with its latest AMD Ryzen Al 7 350 CPU, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, 1TB SSD and 16-inch 2.5K (2560 x 1600) display with a 165Hz refresh rate, gamers will have a field day with this machine, and you’d be hard-pressed to find an RTX 5070 laptop for anything close.

I’ve seen my fair share of Gigabyte gaming laptops, and I’ve always been impressed with the performance they deliver for a much more affordable price than their competitors. That’s exactly the case with this Gigabyte Aero X16 gaming laptop, only made more impressive with its RTX 5070 performance.

Some Gigabyte gaming laptops have their flaws, but customers for this laptop have stated that it’s “a great choice for creative professionals and gamers alike,” and that it’s “quieter than nearly every other laptop I’ve reviewed.” Considering some of the best gaming laptops, like the Razer Blade 16 (2024), can get fairly loud, that says a lot for the thermals on this machine.

That said, with its price knocked down, and with Nvidia DLSS 4 seeing games deliver sky-high frame rates at higher settings, this shouldn’t be an issue for many PC gamers looking for a reliable machine that can play the latest PC titles.

I recently tested an Asus TUF Gaming A18 with an RTX 5070, and was blown away by the performance it could manage. In fact, with Nvidia DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation x4 and High settings with ray tracing turned on, I was seeing frame rates as high as 200 FPS.
