When you’re already the cutest, there’s really no way to get any cuter besides rocking a haircut most people are too scared to commit to.

On Sunday, August 17, the singer shared an Instagram post showing off her brand-new pixie cut.

“My birthday is just around the corner,” she captioned a series of selfies. Oh, that Virgo. She didn’t need to get us a present.

Styled straight and tousled, the actress’s hair was cut into a true pixie, coming in right around the tops of her ears at its longest. The color is her recent-favorite bright copper. We’ve seen the shade at every length and in every style, but this one is truly something special.

While I wouldn’t put it past Palmer’s stylists to hide her hair well enough to lay the perfect pixie wig, something tells me this is the 31-year-old’s actual hair. For one, we can see her edges peeking out beneath the strands dusting her forehead. For another, her regular hairstylist Ashanti Lation commented “this hair cut” on her post alongside multiple fire emojis.

Lation wasn’t the only one obsessed with the style. The singer’s post was full of commenters—celebrities and fans alike—sharing their adoration.

“Hello I’m obsessed! I love your hair short,” one person wrote, while another noted the look was “giving ’90s baddie.”

I can’t wait for the day when Keke Palmer is the reference for everyone’s haircut; it’ll be here soon enough.
