The Review

My lip routine is usually a sacred ritual consisting of lip scrub, lip balm, lip liner, lip tint, and lip gloss. But over the span of a few days, I challenged myself to use this three-in-one plumping balm by itself. Sensorially, I fell in love with this product at first swipe: it’s not thick like a lip gloss, but it has this cushiony glide that deposits just enough pigment. I lack precision when applying lip products, but I found this product to be totally foolproof. It provides a buildable, hydrating wash of color without any streakiness—it’s essentially impossible to overdo it. Whereas most products with plumping benefits tend to set my lips on fire, I found that this product didn’t irritate me at all and provided a subtle plumping effect.

I like to think of this as my “model-off-duty” lippie—it’s a one-and-done staple that makes my lips look put together without even trying.
