Sonali Bendre’s midnight blue Manish Malhotra sari is drenched in sequins

Originally debuted on the runway in 2019, this silhouette has since become a fixture in the couturier’s collections. Its balance of nostalgia and modernity has made it a modern classic worn by Katrina Kaif, Malaika Arora and more across red carpets, runways and wedding circuits. Malhotra took the pared-down route for the blouses, ranging from bralettes to halters, and now Bendre’s off-shoulder cut.

The jewellery matched the mood in midnight hues, layered textures and a gleam that caught the light without stealing focus. Her picks: a multi-layered choker encrusted with diamonds and sapphires, complementing earrings and rings, curated from MK Jewels, Razwada Jewels and Irasva Fine Jewellery. Her glam followed suit with soft-focus skin, champagne shimmer lids, defined brows and a rose-nude lip.
